Ranata Reeder is an award winning social change agent with over 15 years experience spanning the community development, philanthropic, and government sectors.
As a community leader, she’s advanced initiatives to build healthy, thriving, affordable, and economically vibrant communities by uplifting people, policy, and practice that mobilize community-based resources. She was named South Florida’s 40 Under 40 for her work as the Executive Director of South Florida Community Development Coalition to cultivate communities that were healthy, safe, thriving, affordable, and economically vibrant. She also proudly served as Trustee of the Miami-Dade County Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board in that capacity as well.
Ranata has achieved policy and advocacy wins at the local, state, and federal level by mobilizing membership networks of elected officials, business leaders, philanthropy organizations, and nonprofits across the United States with city specific work in Boston, Greensboro, Indianapolis, Miami, Seattle, and Washington, DC that resulted in positive community development, economic development, and public health outcomes.
In her free time, Ranata is passionate about her 14-book children’s book series The Story of Ahsa, learning about wine, and traveling.
